I’m always desperately searching for ways to quit things. It’s like a piece of luggage I never want to bring back with me. This week I’m quitting sugar, carbs, and caffeine. What a double whammy, and what a mouse trap to unravel, if you will. In the U.S. we have no idea the stuff we put in our bodies. Sugar has been deemed toxic for the body, caffeine is hard on the liver, and carbs in the wrong hands can make you fat. Out there somewhere, is a world leader using carbs to destroy us! Lol Yesterday was the worst of it, as I started last Friday, as my wife was away, experimenting. And boy here is the results I was 234, and as of today I am 229. I haven’t been 229 since 2020, do to the YOYO effect. So I went and bought some groceries and I said I’m going to lose some weight while she’s gone.

Below are the groceries I bought and the amounts I ate to lose weight. Here is the plan.

Awake and have de-caffeinated coffee (Starbucks Sumatra w/stevia vanilla/chocolate/coconut creamer)

10 AM first meal, some type of eggs only with hot sauce or veggies of some kind) Don’t add any breads, bagels or any of those things.

12pm something fermented, as this helps your stomach. Pickles and tuna are a great treat.

Before 7 PM at night have either chicken, pork chops and a round of veggies, and don’t forget that second cup of coffee at some point.

Bananas are a great snack as they offer a few carbs, something sweet and keep you from crashing all at once from the no sugar, caffeine or carbs. It’s important not to crash all at once as I did on Monday. I ended up having to break protocol to get enough energy to finish my day. After 40 Minutes of walking I crashed due to no carbs, sugar or caffeine.
